Long title for a terrific book

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society was on my list of books to read someday from the first review I read about it--that is, until it came out in paperback, and I picked up a copy on sale this summer. It sat, unread, on my shelf until a few days ago, when I needed to read it for my book club meeting on Wednesday.

Oh my goodness. Why did I wait?

I took my own sweet time with this novel, and I'm so glad I did. Wonderful, delightful, unique, delicious. All those positive reviews were right. The only negative thing about this book was that it ended.
