Austen in August Update

WELL.

I did not finish even one book by Jane Austen during the month of August.

I feel like I've failed.

Except, I didn't.
I drove over 2200 miles during this month to get my daughter safely delivered to college. I read several chapters in Emma and I listed over a hundred online auctions and sales in an attempt to downsize and make some money for our daughter's aforementioned college experience.

I just didn't have the dedicated time to read like I had when we drove across North America, or even as we unpacked and I reread the entire Glenbrooke series.

I also found this lovely clip from Studio C (out of BYU); you can see Jane Austen from 0:23 to 0:47. The whole sketch is awesome, though.
